There are various legal ratings out there, created by various companies in an attempt to help people determine which attorneys are the most qualified to handle their difficult legal issues. Dave has been pleased to be rated in a couple of ways.
As one of the oldest (if not the oldest) attorney information services in the United States, Martindale-Hubbell has provided ratings for attorneys for many years. There are two parts to the rating. One is a letter rating, either A, B, or C. Some attorneys are unrated, which means that they have not been reviewed or else they have insufficient experience to be rated. The other part of the rating is an ethics rating. The highest ethics rating is is noted with a letter “V” which stands for “Very High”.
Dave has been rated as a BV by Martindale-Hubbell. This is generally the highest rating available for attorneys of his age and years of experience. Learn more about how the ratings are determined by CLICKING HERE.
Super Lawyer magazine reviews attorneys and designates the top 2.5% of attorneys under the age of 40 as “rising stars.” Dave received this honor in 2008, 2009, and 2010. He won’t get it in 2011, though. Why? He has now turned 40, as of March 5, 2010! Read more about how Super Lawyer chooses “rising stars”.
