It hurts to lose someone.
GriefShare brings help and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member, or friend.
Edwards Group Chaplain, Carla Green, along with her husband Rick will be leading this support group for those who have lost loved ones.
September 13 – December 6
6:30 – 8:30 PM
After the funeral, when the cards and flowers have stopped coming, most of the people around you return to their normal lives. But your grief continues on and you can feel very alone.
GriefShare is led by caring people who have experienced grief and have successfully rebuilt their lives. They will walk with you on the long path toward healing and hope for the future.
GriefShare is a network of 15,000+ churches worldwide equipped to offer grief support groups. The program is nondenominational and features Biblical concepts for healing from your grief.
WHAT TO EXPECT
You will meet weekly with your support group, and you are welcome to begin attending the group at any point. Each week is “self-contained,” so you don’t have to attend in sequence or fear missing out on anything. Learn more at www.griefshare.org.
There is a $45 registration fee for materials.
The Edwards Group GriefShare group will meet at the Edwards Group’s Springfield offices – 3223 S Meadowbrook Rd, Ste A, 62711.
