Intake Specialist
Debbie joined Edwards Group in 2025. Throughout her career, she has worked face-to-face with clients and patients, and she’s always been drawn to roles where she can help others. She especially values knowing that our work helps families feel at ease and confident that their hardearned money will be protected.
Before joining Edwards Group, Debbie spent 30 years doing acrylic nails, including 20 years as the owner of her own nail salon. That experience honed her people skills, attention to detail, and ability to make others feel comfortable—strengths she now brings to her role as an intake specialist.
Born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and raised in Peoria, Illinois, Debbie is an Illini fan by default thanks to her husband, Jeff, and she also cheers for the Chicago Bears. She loves how kind and helpful her colleagues are at Edwards Group and appreciates the way everyone goes above and beyond for clients.
When she’s not at work, Debbie enjoys reading, spending time with her family, walking her dog, and traveling. She and Jeff have seven children, thirteen grandbabies, and two beloved pets: a Shih Tzu named Wrigley and a cat named Cosmo.
